We invite you to a 2-days workshop exploring Participatory Photography, Participatory Theatre and their combination as creative tools for community work, to encourage participation, inclusion and dialogue.
The visual and embodied languages will offer different opportunities to honour our lived stories and to activate our collective imagination to co-create and transform, to envision and enact new ones, exploring together how a Photo-Theatrical community work can support personal and community participatory processes.
The workshop will include a combination of tools and practices:
PhotoVoice, Image Theatre, Playback Theatre, Forum Theatre, Embodied and Visual Storytelling.
The workshop will offer resources to all those engaging communities with creative tools, or interested in doing so. It is addressed to facilitators, (art)therapists, educators, community workers, theatre makers, photographers, as well as anyone else who would be interested in experiencing Participatory Photography and Participatory Theatre, and their combination.
No previous theatre or photography experience is needed.
